Happy Chanukah from LevLA
Hi, it’s Galit -
Thank you dear guests and donors for being part of the LevLA family!
What a beautiful Chanukah!!!
Let me show you what is happening in LevLA:
During this heavy war, every Jew has been affected and become connected. Jews help Jews whether in Israel or across the world in LevLA. And in this time of darkness, the Chanukah menorah gives us hope for a miraculous salvation!
This is Eldar and Shimrit, of Kibbutz Nachal Oz. On Simchat Torah, Eldar’s mother was murdered, and they experienced the horrible massacre. Shaking with trauma, Shimrit saw that her family needed to get out to a safe place
They just left back to Israel, and we will miss them!
Another of our guests now is Refael and Kochava. After Sukkot, they came in from Mexico for a few days for Refael to receive heart surgery in Cedars-Sinai Cardiac Center. Unfortunately, that surgery led to multiple others, but baruch Hashem, two months later, he is finally in rehab ❤️🩹.
The LevLA building is busy, but b”H we were able to arrange a suite for their delayed stay, and for their amazing, devoted children who are on a visiting rotation.
You know, I look out extra for Kochava. Kochava's need for physical and emotional support is so relatable to me - My late husband was in the very same hospital ward for 3 ½ years, while I worried for him, juggling my twin babies.
Here, we are a long lasting support for LevLA patients and those that care for them.
Hashem should give Refael and Kochava many more healthy, happy years together, ad mea v’esrim!
P.S. Bring Chanukah light to these LevLA guests, and others
